When you run a report each question type has a default chart type. Some question types also have a set of additional chart types that users can use to view their data. There are two different groups of charts: Summary Charts and Trends.

The available list of charts includes:

  • Pie Chart: Provides a view of relevant data that is grouped and aggregated into a pie chart.

  • Bar Chart: Provides a view of relevant data that is grouped and aggregated into a bar chart

  • Line Chart: Displays a trend view of your data with one line per data group and one data point per period (hour, day, week, month).

  • Stacked Bar Chart: Displays a trend view of your data with one stacked color in each bar per data group and one bar per period (hour, day, week, month)

  • Stats Line Chart: Displays a line chart that depicts the running average of the data values with one data point per period (hour, day, week, month)

Each survey question type has a default chart type as well as zero to four additional chart options.

The following table provides a list of questions types and their respective default chart type as well as their other supported chart types.
